Miles Rusth is a native Oregonian. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1989 & Oregon State University in 1994. Upon graduation he pursued his interest in teaching in San Jose, Costa Rica. Upon returning from Costa Rica he received an entry level position with a finance company. One year later he received another offer from a large mortgage lending institution which he pursued and immediately fell in love with the profession. After gaining another year of lending experience, he decided that he needed to find a local company because corporate America was not his calling. Hence, Summit Mortgage Corporation was the next logical move. Miles has been at Summit Mortgage for 11 years and a partner for 10 years. He has funded over 2400 mortgage loans and has been a homeowner and real estate investor for over 12 years.
